SERVICES
Housing: Provide long and short term housing for homeless women and a safe haven for women who are in domestic violent situations who need to leave on short notice.
Awareness Workshops: These workshops will include, but not limited to self-improvement, HIV/AIDS awareness and domestic violence.
Self-Improvement Classes: With the sole purpose of helping individuals become self-sufficient and spiritually sound to function properly in their personal lives and their communities. Participants will be exposed to theoretical and practical principles that must be adhered to in order to reconstruct their lives in ways they never thought possible. Once participants have completed the BFAOM clinic, they should be able to successfully enhance their existing life skills and develop new ones. Such skills would include: personal awareness, moral and work ethics, setting and reaching personal and professional goals; positive thinking, making sound decisions, master effective communication, conflict resolution and personal organization skills; foster positive relationships, adopt healthy lifestyles and make sound financial decisions. Upon completion, the participants will receive a certificate of completion.
Mentorship: Provide life-skills coaching to enhance personal and professional growth.
Counseling: Provide professional psychological and spiritual counseling and to women who have gone through difficult situations that have caused them to lose touch with reality.
Spiritual Support: Assist with finding a place of worship.
